Heidi Kennedy is a registered nurse with over 30 years’ experience across acute, community and social care settings. She is currently Head of Complex Care at Bluebird Care, where she provides strategic and clinical leadership for services supporting people with highly complex health and care needs at home.

A qualified Specialist Practitioner in Community Nursing in the Home, Heidi has led the development of clinical policy and governance frameworks that translate national standards into safe, effective practice beyond hospital environments. Her work focuses on complex care delivery, clinical assurance, workforce capability and system collaboration across health and social care boundaries.

Alongside her senior leadership role, Heidi is an experienced educator and lecturer, with a strong background in teaching, training and mentoring multidisciplinary teams. She is passionate about strengthening clinical safety, growing confident practitioners and championing high quality, person centred care in community and home based settings.
