Nell Bennett qualified as a physiotherapist in 2024 and now works as a specialist physiotherapist in paediatrics. Alongside her clinical role in the NHS, she has held a range of representative and leadership positions, beginning as a student representative before becoming a Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Workplace Steward.

She currently sits on the Trades Union Congress (TUC) General Council as the Young Workers’ representative and also represents the UK on the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) Youth Committee. Nell is passionate about ensuring that early-career professionals are empowered to influence the decisions that shape their working lives, services and professions.

She believes leadership is not defined by job title or seniority but by a willingness to advocate for others. Through her work, she champions meaningful opportunities for newly qualified staff and students to contribute, lead and create positive change.
