Professor Alison Leary MBE, FRCN, FQICN is Professor of Healthcare & Workforce Modelling at London South Bank University and a Senior Consultant with the WHO Human Resources for Health Group.
She specialises in mathematical modelling of healthcare systems and workforces, with nursing research focused on safety-critical work.
A Fellow of the Royal College of Nursing and the Queen’s Institute for Community Nursing, she received an MBE in 2019 for modelling safety in the English Football League. Registered with the NMC since 1996, she has worked in haematology, oncology, palliative, and pre-hospital care, and is a Trustee of the British Association for Immediate Care.
