Linda Jones is Nursing Officer for Strategic Nursing Workforce and Education within the Office of the Chief Nursing Officer for Wales, providing strategic leadership on nursing workforce development, education and professional practice.

With extensive experience across critical care, surgical services and corporate nursing, Linda has held a range of clinical, operational and strategic leadership roles within the NHS. She is passionate about compassionate and inclusive leadership, talent development and creating environments where people can thrive. Throughout her career, she has championed the recruitment, integration and development of internationally educated nurses.

Holding an MA in Education (Distinction) and trained as an executive coach, Linda has designed and led leadership development programmes for nurses at all career stages. She has contributed to several national nursing education and workforce initiatives across Wales and currently leads work on advanced practice policy and implementation on behalf of Welsh Government.
