With over 25 years of post-qualification experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist, Reena has built a diverse and accomplished career spanning clinical practice, education, leadership, and research. Throughout her career, she has combined advanced clinical expertise with a commitment to developing the future healthcare workforce, making significant contributions across healthcare, academia, and professional practice. She is a passionate advocate for achieving equitable student experiences and graduate outcomes, championing lifelong learning as a means of empowering individuals, promoting social mobility, and building a resilient, future-ready healthcare workforce.

With extensive experience in physiotherapy education at both pre- and post-registration levels across a range of Higher Education Institutions in the UK and internationally, she has developed a deep understanding of the evolving healthcare education landscape. This includes the policy, regulatory, workforce, and institutional factors that influence the preparation, development, and retention of healthcare professionals.

As Assistant Director of Workforce and Education at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), she provides strategic leadership for the Society’s quality assurance and enhancement activities across the UK. Working collaboratively with universities, education providers, regulators, and sector partners, she leads initiatives that promote excellence in physiotherapy education and workforce development. Through this work, she helps ensure that pre and post-registration programmes meet the highest standards, preparing practitioners to deliver safe, effective, and equitable care for the populations they serve.
